Owner Jessie Patterson is a graduate of the worldwide acclaimed Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. She has over 20 years of experience in fashion retail, wholesale, marketing, distribution, and operations. But as a young woman growing up in New York, Jessie worked alongside her father and brother in the home remodeling business to make side money.

Her career in fashion brought her to Louisville while working for tech disruptor Gilt Groupe. Gilt was sold to a competitor and Jessie was laid off, at this juncture, a lifelong dream was fulfilled of opening her very own women's boutique called Messie Shop. The dream turned out to be a learning experience and did not exceed expectations. After only nine months, Messie Shop was closed. A short stint working for Canadian-owned handbag company LXR ended at the start of the pandemic when the worldwide pause button was hit.

Now what?

Once again at a juncture, her husband said, "you need to find something other than retail," immediately Jessie responded, "how about real estate?" She realized the lessons learned were to bring her to this, to follow in the family business of being a real estate investor. So here we are, purchasing homes in Louisville, KY that are in need of modernization all designed by Jessie.
